weekending. . .

“To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.” ~Mary Oliver

The last couple of days have been glorious weather wise. It seems the older I get the more the weather affects me and so I can hardly stand to be indoors when it is like this.

We took a great walk yesterday along Bateman Island. It is a tiny island on the Columbia River, about a little over a mile long. Its claim to fame is that is the furthest upstream Lewis and Clark traveled on the Columbia. You can read about it here if you are so inclined.  It is also where I saw the river otters the other day.

I can't seem to get enough of these winter weeds!

Hope your weekend is awesome!
xoxo
