Here I write and try to capture my everyday life even when it is blurry and unclear. I love simple things like sun flares and snowflakes, walks on the beach and people around my table; where you will always find candle light, laughter and flowers. Welcome to my blog and my corner of the world.
I am glad you are here.
“To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.” ~Mary Oliver
The last couple of days have been glorious weather wise. It seems the older I get the more the weather affects me and so I can hardly stand to be indoors when it is like this.
We took a great walk yesterday along Bateman Island. It is a tiny island on the Columbia River, about a little over a mile long. Its claim to fame is that is the furthest upstream Lewis and Clark traveled on the Columbia. You can read about it here if you are so inclined. It is also where I saw the river otters the other day.
I can't seem to get enough of these winter weeds! Hope your weekend is awesome! xoxo
